Basement gardens can often be damp and gloomy places - transforming them into a stylish and usable outdoor space can be challenging but well worth-it.

In this basement garden, large scale lattice squares were introduced to break up the imposing back wall and an old fireplace surround was used to create a bespoke water feature.

Using strong architectural plants that contrasted with the surrounding structures then bought life to this basement making it a very usable and pleasant extension to the house.
